Tungsten carbide recycling technologies

In collaboration with mining and industrial OEMs, Renesis reconstructed waste powder, producing high-purity tungsten carbide powder that was returned to production for testing. The tests delivered positive results and demonstrated the opportunity to apply Renesis’ separation technology on a larger scale.

As a result, Renesis successfully applied various proprietary electro-chemical separation techniques to recover tungsten carbide from WC scrap.

New Laboratory Commissioned

Previous facility could no longer accommodate the team and technology roadmap. We’ve moved into a larger laboratory space to support the development of Electrochemical processes including hydrodynamic electrolysis and Chemical processes including leaching and separation. This new lab will serve our growing team of chemists and engineers.

High-Purity Tin Powder – Proof of Concept Achieved

Building on the hydrodynamic electro-harvesting technology originally developed for chromium (2019), Renesis (formerly Perfect Metals) has successfully adapted the method to produce high-purity tin powder. The produced powder has the following parameters: size 1-5 µm; 99.97% purity; spherical. This proves the versatility of our technology, with preparations now underway for tungsten, tungsten compounds, cobalt, nickel, rare earth elements (REEs), and PGMs.

Renesis Metals Established in Australia

Perfect Metals, now operating as Renesis Metals Pty Ltd, was established in Australia as a technology and processing plant developer.
Our mission: to decarbonize, decentralize, derisk, and electrify the processing of critical and strategic minerals. Together with its Polish partner Perfekt (connected via capital structure), Renesis Group combines:

  • 20+ years of industrial deep-tech experience (Perfekt)

  • Full in-house capabilities to design, build, and scale modular and mobile processing plants

  • Renesis’s expertise in project development, operations, and supply of high-purity metal powders via standalone or partnered business models
